Our Christmas wreath

Am I the only who feels like having a wreath is like the epitome of homemaking? I'm not sure where I got this idea. But ever since we got it into our heads that we wanted to buy a house, I've had this idea that I was going to have a wreath on the door.

I've had this done for a few days now, but hadn't been able to snap a picture before today. I like how it turned out but feel like there might still be something missing! All in all, this little craft cost me about $9. Pretty good huh?

It went from this...

...to this!

The form came from Goodwill, the material holding on the letters and "hanging" the wreath (there's a wire behind it for stronger support) actually came from the ties that were around the rug we recently bought (free, yay!) and everything else (letters, snowflake, pine cone decoration, paint...) came from hobby lobby.

It kind of looks like it is hanging at an angle...but it's not. Promise. It was just a weird angle.

More Christmas decorations coming soon!

  1. Before I saw that you posted a photo of the "before" I was going to tell you that it looked like it could use a huge pink bow. Haha!

I am loving your blog. I just discovered it again last night since I was still following the old one but I got all updated and caught up with you two. Love it!
